With Health & Safety at the forefront of our company and being our number one priority, we strive on consistent improvement and site monitoring with all relevant training, company policies and documentation procedures in place. We adhere to legislation and understand our responsibilities under the Health and Safety at Work Act 1974.
We are 100% CSCS & CIBT committed with all operatives holding a valid CSCS card. Our skilled workers carry the correct qualification being either NVQ or City & Guilds certified. Our site supervisors hold SSSTS certifications, with our Site Managers being SMSTS qualified. All appointed persons are First Aid At Work Trained.
Our dedicated team of operatives are fully trained in relevant safety procedures including Codes of Practice, CDM, Manual Handling, Work at Height regulations and UKATA Asbestos Awareness training, with most having additional qualifications including PASMA, IPAF and CPCS tickets.
Bannister have a fantastic Health & Safety record and are committed to making constant improvements to ensure the record is maintained. We provide all revenant Health & Safety documentations including Risk Assessments, Method Statements, COSHH Assessments and Safe Systems of Work to not only meet regulations but also ensure our operatives can carry out their duties safely. We are committed to continuous improvement and performance of our safety standards, with ‘Zero-Harm’ as a target for each of our sites. Our externally audited Occupational Health & Safety Management System includes compulsory & ongoing Training initiatives, Site Monitoring and Tool Box Talks.
Our Construction Line accreditation is demonstrable evidence of our ongoing commitment to protect our workforce and all other third parties who we may come into contact with and may be affected by our activities on-site.
